How to remove and replace the outer tie rod end on your 4th gen Maxima. Process is extremely similar to most other vehicles.

  • In this particular case, no. The tie rod was already loose, however in most cases you will have to use some force on the steering knuckle to pop it loose.

  • did yu smack the knuckle to give the shock.?

  • I didn't use a drill.

    Are you referring to the impact? A generic electric impact from Lowes, as stated in the video.

  • Heat, and lots of it. A MAPP gas torch from Home Depot should work just fine.

  • this looks very similer to my 88 crx. i need to adjust mine but the inner is stuck in the outer. i have tried wd40 but doesnt seem to work. any suggestions? thanx
