Yes.... I do know where the fuck you're coming from. I've been told by a few "Hell, what are you doing here? You should be out saving the world!" but I have no will lately... a sense of a lack of worth. My stream of consciousness is endless, in a perfect circle. I have no desire to have that contact either, people can't seem to understand that I don't want to get near them just so I can destroy them with my endless, poisoned mind, 'doubling the alienation'.

Anyway, this video gave me comfort.

Thats the problem with us philosophers. We think too much. To the point where it can make you miserable. I know what you mean. I don't feel like any of my emotions are real anymore. I try to conform with others; that doesn't get me anywhere. Just leaves me realizing how different I am. When I stop thinking so much, its only a matter of time when reality hits me again, and i become as depressed as I was before. Idk if people like us are meant to be happy.

Well my hope is that there is a point where philosophy leads to happiness. some would call it enlightenment. I believe it's simply being able to control your mentality. We spend a lot of time on our mind and not enough on our "soul" or emotional selves.

paddy cuinne I've been a fan of your videos for quiet awhile and I relate to a lot of what you say in your vids and just now I just finally watch this video of yours and I got a say You are so not alone in this my friend for I always fealt this way like you to a tee so much its amazing!!! sounds lame, but ive found positivity perpetuates itself. if you shift your focus a little away from what your not achieving, and rather towards what you are, you generally start to feel good, and it builds up, and then you can start thinking strait again. i dunno, just how i get myself out of ruts, small steps, i even start so small as making getting out of bed an achievement. i know what you mean about the need to fit in, and disliking it because there's little option anywhere else, it lonely.
