Fatalistic acceptance of "how things are" does not = "embracing"

Gamers don't like microtransactions in games they paid for, but many accept their existence and pay for the content because they want the full game.

"Beta" with microtransactions = "Let's see how much money people are willing to spend on this. If they spend alot, we might keep working on the game. If they don't spend alot, we'll just shut it down after we recoup our development costs. Who cares if the players who spent money spent it with the understanding that this game would be active for years."

Stop paying for microtransactions in these cash grab "beta" games. If it's still in beta and they're charging money, there's something not right.

Cynical Brit one of the best game reviewers out there. Dont know if you Mention anything yet about Camelot Unchained but ten days for fans to support the first all RVR based game by Mark Jacobs. Hope everyone gives it a look before its here, gone and never made.

They break down where all of the costs are going on the indigogo website. Other fighting game creators have even looked at their budget and said, "yeah, that seems about right." The team is only getting $48,000, which is about $600 per week per person, which is not much for an LA wage. When you're animating a 3D character, you just motion capture someone moving around. For a 2D character, you need to hire artists, clean-up crews, hitbox contracting, QA testing, animation contracting, etc.

microtransactions are fine but only if it's done well.Every game have a limited lifespan, the answer is to pay for points that can be used in a lot of games, not just in a single game.I hope people undenstand what im triying to say.I like the way xboxlive works, you buy a code in order to change your real money for virtual cash, and you can use that virtual cash to buy millions of things from various games, weapons, skins, expansions, etc.if you could refund your points it would be perfect.
