  • FYI

"After doing the work to see what was possible Honda made a conscious decision to look at a more environmentally friendly alternative. The result was a fusion of modelling software for animation, a small number of Insight vehicles for scale and a few hundred Insight headlights."

To further limit carbon output they relied on vehicles already located in South Africa, grouped shipments of props and lights as much as possible, and mandated group transportation of personnel to and from shoot."

  • that is really cool and a really and a really amazing feat. proud of you big brother! xoxox!

  • really ugly car and my hybrid is a lemon and they will not cover anything they said they would

  • Thanks for sharing this Alex :) It is pretty cool!

  • I love the music tho...

  • Considering the fact that the majority of greenhouse gasses come in the form of methane from cattle, you would be better off being a vegan.

I have no idea how much better for the environment the Insight is than a normal car but I would like to see some kind of study into how much better it is than a big heavy bus.

And besides, hydrogen power is the way forward.

  • You mean like buy the Insight? It may be a hybrid, but it still requires fossil fuels to run. No thanks. I'll stick to public transport and ACTUALLY do something to help the environment.

  • It's not putting a load of cars in an empty desert that is helping the environment, it's the fact that the cars have electric and gas hybrid engines which are better to the world than internal combustion engines. And this is to persuade people to buy those cars.

Stop complaining and go do something useful.

  • they are hybrids so there is no wasted energy the cars create there own fuel... i think if im wrong then im sorry!
