Testing top speed on an open road full of junctions... real smart!

I appreciate your comment very much. The road we are testing is controled so that there is no traffic. But, how do you think motorcycle magazines are testing top speed? Do you believe that there are special very long testing straights, or all the magzines can test in Nardo...? The reality is what you can see in that video. Empty road, long straight. Sometimes even with cars...

@yohji79 a bike's speedometer always cheats. the real top speed is less than it appears and sometimes it's much less.

@yohji79 Triumph Speed Triple 1050's top speed is 250km/h (indicated on speedo). Real top speed measured with Video VBOX is 228-230km/h.

nice .. so what's the top speed on the 1050? I've done 240kmph on my Street Triple and that isn't the top speed yet. So I guess the 1050 can go over 260kmph?
