@film1234ish Janice - Absolutely! man especially in these days of the wealthy trying to snuff out the last hopes of the middle class right in broad daylight. This would be an awesome remake. And, a farmer, soldier getting his farm repossessed? Sounds pretty similar to whats happening right now in the US...

But, when in the world is the old film going to show up???

I wrote this film. I was in tears to see this trailer. I am honored by your words. I have made other films since but this old film is a passion Maybe it's time to remake it. The American veteran's are just as alone and abandoned as ever and perhaps this film would be another reminder. What do you all think? I would love to do it. My company, Filmworks is in Sydney but I am in the U.S. a lot and it was my home for fifteen years and a big part of my heart. Let me know your thoughts.

I too saw this film in 1977 while in the army, in a little 16 seat theater on the DMZ in Korea, it really was a great movie but it also holds a special memory for me, my best friend (in Korea) that I saw the movie with was killed 2 hours after we left the theater. So please put me on the list of contacts if it ever gets released.
