I'm quite tickled by the fact that bchoii's JVC videocamera is pretty state of the art when it first came out... hard disk recording for that matter... but they installed a rather lousy microphone...

so this recording doesn't really capture as much dynamic contrast as we would have achieved during the actual performance.

And anyway after playing so many strange new pieces for our indoor concerts lately, it's nice to go back to this gem once again - given that most of us grew up playing this piece in our respective secondary / high school bands!

it's quite funny...but in orchestra I play flute, but in wind orchestra I play clarinet!

The majority of the band isn't holding their instruments correctly. mainly in the clarinet and the flute sections though. My band played this song not too long ago, and might I say, It's a ton of fun!
