Lawrence Taylor plead not guilty in Rockland County, NY to five counts: rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and patronizing a prostitute.

The rape case against former NFL great Lawrence Taylor has had an important development that could dramatically change the whole case. A witness says she was at the Holiday Inn in Ramapo, New York, the night it allegedly happened. She told the investigators about the teen's state of mind moments after the teen left Taylor's hotel room and got into her car: "She wasn't sad, mad or anything like that. She was like I guess, just like wow, she just got paid $300 and didn't have sex with him."

The witness gave investigators a very specific, detailed account of what she was told happened at the hotel. She also explained why she came forward: "I feel bad because he's innocent and she's lying. She wasn't raped."
