@avataz there are tons of ppl learning it. English is the 3rd most spoken language in the world. The job market for English major is enormous especially in Asia. Japan, China Korea and some Southeast Asian countries are desperately looking for English teachers. If u have a degree in English, you have a high chances of getting a job. You can just walk in to some school and get a job.

This is a nice story of her experience, but it never says why an MA in English will be of benefit to you. How will an MA help somebody in life outsidethe university? Or is the reason for pursuing an MA in English simply to remain in the university?
