Super Metroid by Darkboy132 (Part 11)

More Exploration of Mardia.

Upgrades Obtained-
Energy Tanks: (1 and 12 in total. The last 2 are remaining is in Norfair Depths. The 14th one hidden very very well [took me like 5 replays to find it.])
Space Jump: While performing Spin jumps, Samus will be in a swirling Spin Jump which represents the Space Jump. By pressing A repeatedly, it allows Samus to jump repeadedly in the air. Its a very very useful tool.

Regions Explored-
Mardia

Bosses-
Draygon: The 3rd out of 5 main bosses. Draygon is some giant mutant fish that lives in Mardia. Draygon normally attacks by just ramming into you. It can also spit these blobs that can latch onto you. If they do, Draygon will rush TOWARD you and grab and hold onto samus. This is bad. Draygon would smack you with its tail (and it does alot of damage and it does it repeatedly). In addition, Draygon also has these turrents that attacks you. (there only vulnerable to missles. Destroying them causes them to emit electricity. Somewhat it doesnt effect the water but it can damage you if you touch it) There are two ways of killing Draygon: 1) Shooting it's belly (which is not recommended. Its pointless) or 2) Electrifying Dragon (which is what i did in the video. You need alot of energy tanks for this method). Shooting Draygon in its belly is pointless (since it takes alot of hits). I recommend you try to eletrify the boss. To do that, you need to destroy the turrents (so they emit the electricity. Thats your task.) After that, let Draygon grab you and switch onto the Grapple Beam. After that, try to attatch the beam onto the eletricity. If you can manage, hold onto X and the eletricity will zap through the beam, onto Samus's suit and onto Draygon. (becareful cause this requires alot of energy tanks) After that, Draygon dies and you can collect your reward: Space Jump! Oh and one more thing, theres a little glitch to kill Draygon with the Plasma Beam+ X-ray. Of course you cant get Plasma without killing Draygon unless you perform the Spacetime Glitch or use a ROM hack. To do that, start the fight and switch to X-ray. As soon as Draygon comes out, fire a charged shot at Draygon and perform the Slow-mo technique. Draygon should be dead after that.

Minibosses-
Botwoon: Botwoon is a serpent like creature that hides in holes and pops out. This boss is an annoying one too. It normally just roams around the room (trying to ram you. Its a very very old tactic made by the enemies) or spits out tiny blobs.
Its only weak point is the head (which can be shot by the Charge Beam since it has a good range at this fight and it spreads alot) but if you shoot the body, it has no effect. During time, when you weaken Botwoon, it will move faster (reminds you of Serris in Fusion with its Speed Booster abillity huh?) and sooner or later, it will die and open a new path.

Thats true. Theres 4 bosses and additional places on the planet. ALSO the places are EXPANDED about TWICE as long in MZM.

Agreed they do need to make another gba metroid game.

yoknow the first time i faced dargon and beat him i did not know how to use the space jump properley and could not get out of the place lol
