There is no end to the awesome at seeing an animated, voiced Dick Grayson with a comics personality. DCAU Nightwing was jaded and never resolved his issues with Batman on account of being shoved into the background. This one, on the other hand, has already made peace with his mentor and actively wants to help him out.

I guess DCAU should have broken Batman's back, too. Nothing like a crippling if not lethal injury to bring a family together.

Plus, their teamwork kicks ass.

Lastly! Fun fact: Dick is never actually called by his name in this movie, and is even in fact listed simply as "Nightwing" in the credits. Poor Dickie.

@Rudejack007 Actually, it's John DiMaggio. You really think it sounds like Hamil? DiMaggio's voice is a lot deeper and his laugh isn't quite as manic, in my opinion.

@britneyfan45 Nightwing's name is Dick Grayson. At a young age, both of his parents were murdered; Bruce Wayne, who was present at the tragedy, took Dick under his wing out of sympathy. Dick then discovered that Bruce was Batman, and thus became Robin. He operated under the title until adulthood, at which point he moved away and changed his name to Nightwing. They're not biologically related; however, Bruce formally adopted Dick as his son several years later.
