@USCGAAdmissions . I wasn't aware that the average score was a 29. Could an applicant apply with a 26 in the ACT ? I mean, getting in with a 26 might be pretty hard then, other things being equal ....

@USCGAAdmissions There is still physical and hand to hand combat training though right?

I am Coast Guard. I cant wait to serve my country, I cant wait to wear that white uniform of honor. I cant wait to lead others and show what I have to give back. I cant wait to be an engineer, and architect and eventually a operations ashore search and rescue. I am Nikolas and I am Coast Guard. Im just waiting for my application to be accepted:D

I was talking to to a college and career person at my high school and I asked about the Coast Guard Academy. She told me that I had to take the S.A.Ts or A.C.Ts. Is this true?

@zling21 Yes, you have to take either the SAT or the ACT with writing.

@USCGAAdmissions Is there a certain score that I would have to get above?

@zling21 There is no minimum score, however, the average ACT score is 29 and the average SAT (w/writing) is about 1950
