Minecraft - How to build a burglar alarm

A quick guide on how to build a decent burglar alarm in Minecraft. This uses a simple RS NOR gate attached to a pressure plate for the trigger, a button for the reset input, and a 4-clock to make the note blocks sound. Very simple, quick and easy to build.

does it soon die over time? cause i did my a few time and now its just dead and it does not work what is up with it i did every thing you did but it might be a bit long by a few red stone but it still doesnt need redstone repether like i said it worked for awhile 3 trys then it just failed i dont know whats wrong help?

@venback If your torches get over worked in too short a timespan then they tend to 'burn out' and stop working, so perhaps the clock is overworking the torches and causing the problem?

Hey, great video, seriously, been looking for an alternative to a new pulsar type creation, however, is there any chance you can make a step tutorial for this as looking at the angles of your video's it doesn't help me too much in creating this, thanks :)
