One thing I should point out real fast is that Space Marines and Spartans fight by very different doctrines. Space Marines would be classified as elite heavy shock troops. Spartans would be classified as independent special forces commando teams. The better equivalent would be the Adeptus Custodes against the Spartans, as they follow many of the same doctrines [independent operation, thinking outside direct confrontation] or the Officio Assassinorum, particularly the Vindicare Temple.

@mushroomhead86 They aren't physically stronger than a space marine, who typically stand 8' tall and weights in over 400lbs, easily. They may kill a pup space marine who's just injested the carnis helix or some other rudimentary beginning implant. So let's look it from legit facts from a long standing fan. Most space marines will fight on, even if they get shot in the head, (Hakon from Space Wolves did this, then dropped shortly after, he took a fucking bolter shell to the head.)

@mushroomhead86 It's funny the amount of people actually arguing here, and insulting eachother. It's fantasy lol.... it like doesn't exist. Anyway.... the people in this thread have all ignored one vital thing about the Chief- he's remarkably lucky. And he's the fucking CHIEF. Think he's gonna stand around and trade slaps with a SPACE MARINE? No way, he's going to hide around boxes jumping up on shit leaving trails of grenades until he's miles out of range, then land a spinning 360 headshot.

@Squizzl1998 Read the ultramarines Omnibus that series is full of SMs crying, SMs holding hands, drinking wine together, glory seeking, and other much more human acts by space marines. Spartans on the other hand never do any of these, who's more human?

@1R0QU012 unknown things are sort of touchy, like i guess i could ask you to prove that the void shield absorbs it but at that point the whole debate turns kind of sour, so it would be better for me to pause things here.
