To be honest, I don't like Fantasy movies (I prefer Sci-Fi) but this movie blew me away - very interesting storyline, nice visual effects, great acting. James Purefoy was brilliant as Solomon. I like the idea that the main warrior/killer/hero was religious. Rachel Hurd-Wood was stunning as well. "Solomon Kane" is interesting, sometime even shocking and criminally underrated movie. I hope they will make a sequel

@evenflow1981 Agreed, except it's Robert not Ron, and both Solomon Kane and the Warhammer inquisitors were based on real world puritan beliefs and clothes.
When you think about it, every bit of fantasy or fiction we got today is either based on something real or believed to be real at some point.
