@lta6494 This plant is one of the largest wind turbine blade plants on earth, and it is booked solid for years out.

God, his words make me feel so much better.
Is this the plant that went belly up?
How is wind and solar going to cover a fraction of demand...not to mention growth?

@meechigan523
Well maybe I will consider that. I know that wind energy is booming and you have first hand experience on how much it is expanding. I live in texas and you can see wind turbines for hours in west texas. I love wind energy but I feel like it needs to be under Obama until the industry can support itself without subsidies

@siegfried0752 ... Bro... Honestly? I wouldn't go that far. They are planting so many turbines in the next 2 years that i dont really think i need to "kiss" my job goodbye... What you said may be true... But not entirely.

@meechigan523
You can kiss your job good buy with PAlin. "Drill baby Drill".
Republicans want to cut rebates for turbines b/c they get so much money from oil companies. Long live oil

Here is how you resolve the Crude OiL problem. Price per barrel $82.00. One Barrel = 32 gallons / gasoline. 32 gallons x $3.78 = $120.96. Take $120.96 - $82.00. Oil company is profiting $38.96 per barrel.

With over 100,000 wind turbines world wind we are still waiting for the first coal plant to close. But we can follow the billions of dollars spent on this modern day feel good project. We can also track the increase in the cost of electricity by having our government force us to buy a product that can not compete on its own. windpowerfacts.info
