I was a believer of the Christian Church and found out that Christians say they believe in forgiveness and love but for the most part are hypocrites to with this. Vampires can be Christians, Catholics, Jews, Hindu, Buddists, Athiests ect that are Vampires and they can be what they want to be because of free will. is anybody else seeing the the parallels to gay rights here? the same "religious" cant against a godless minority, the same use of children as an excuse to oppress said minority, the same "not in my neighborhood" mentality. the subtext is brilliant. there is also a strong resemblance to a 1980's TV movie/series interestingly enough entitled "V"--it was about space aliens trying to live among humans.
