The MIT Student Art Association's LineStorm Animation Consortium created this lively visualization of Sir Isaac Newton's Three Laws of Motion. We worked entirely with hand-animated flipbooks, digitized at MotionArt Studios Boston at the rate of ten drawings per second of screen time. Pell Osborn supervised the project. Many thanks to the MIT LineStorm animators, to Sam Magee, Director of the MIT Student Art Association, and to Sir Isaac Newton for his clear and constructive thinking. Hanneke Cassel composed the energetic soundtrack, "Tennessee Quick Cash," and performs on fiddle, with Ariel Friedman on cello and Keith Murphy on guitar. Recording copyright 2006 Cassel Records, Boston, All Rights Reserved.

The expanding and contracting writing is causing my brain serious harm, though.
