Albanian Election on the Ground: G99, Democratic Party, Socialist Party Cross Paths

We had a community event this evening in good ole District 3 of Tirana, nicely painted in Democratic Party blue (the other guys). We set up a tent to engage people and get pledgecards (the G99 version of phone calls and door knocks) amidst DP flags, and set up a movie screen for kids to come watch Dragon Ball Z with our awesome (in my opinion) theme song playing in the background (Alban Skenderaj's "Do Jemi Ne", meaning "It will be us." If you haven't spent the 99 cents on it on iTunes, I highly recommend it.)

All of a sudden, here comes the DP van with speakers attached to it comes driving up and parks itself right in front of the tent and plays the most annoying theme song in the history of theme songs. They stick around for a good 10 minutes. It reminded me of the "friendly" annoyances the Obama/McCain camps used to pull.
