  • ACORN is a Republican buzz word that essentially translates into something like "We hate blacks and hispanics, we're scared to death of just about everything that isn't white and middle class, and we have no clue what's really going on so we'll just blather any old shit and hope someone feels sorry for us."

    Something like that.

  • PLEASE! EVERYTHING the republicans do is identity politics!

  • Why do Republicans still think they are relevant?

  • PLEASE watch my videos and download the youtube downloader to save them. This is a prime example of how corrupt the current healthcare system is.

  • Republicans...EAT IT!!! Hope she fucks you all without lube.

  • Interesting how Clarence Thomas feels like his benefiting from affirmative action is like a chain around his neck because he is in a position where others assume he's where he is because of affirm action&not because he nec merits being in his position. He wanted to achieve through his own efforts&now feels betrayed by affirmative action & cannot feel self-fulfilled because of a sense of sort-of 'cheating.' If your good, you belong in,plain and simple, but if someone else is better, they belong.

  • no it wasn't, u talking about walmart is racist what u think all minorities work there? Why did u say ur ethnicity, to prove u r not racist? Please sit down, u will never understand minority minds cuz u haven't been through it, people like you take what malcom x,mohammid ally not going to war, and such and misinterpret the info. You know u stole this land from Indiana right. I am mixed. And atill u r ,u will never understand.

  • I'm white, now to say I would be a better employee for walmart than a black guy is racist, no matter how you look at it man. It WAS a racist statement, just put up with it.

  • Wow these people are so stupid they took everything out of context. When do you see hispanic women leaders, when do u c a women leader, its hard to be both. She is basically saying anything a man can do I can do better, and anything a white man can do I can do better. Its not racist, most politicians are white, duh.

  • out of context........

  • way to take quotes out of context......

  • Personally, I know I was passed up for a number of jobs because of affirmative action (I'm white). I'm fine with that. It's called being circumspect. I was born with a considerable amount of social capital; I did not have to overcome centuries of discrimination, both social and institutional. Sotomayor, given her impressive record as a jurist, is living proof of the value of affirmative action. After all, the point of government jobs is to make the country better; equality is part of that.
