this isnt for personal use, its for studios, if a band comes in, plays a guitar riff, gets it wrong, they dont have to play it again, do you not understand how revalutionary this is! the layout might not be great, but with the things it can do... it shouldnt have to be amazing...

Actually i take it back!i got my head around it more today,its fucking good for midi stuff!and im finally getting to grips with the predictive note element!would do you mean its not for personal use,thats the sillest thing ive ever heard!

Could this work on regular, multi-instrument MP3s? Like could I open up an MP3 of a rock song with bass, guitar, drums, and vocals and edit each note individually?

No. Melodyne needs separate audio tracks for each instrument.

Yes I did. In fact, I own this software. Unfortunately, while Melodyne is capable of picking apart polyphonic recordings, it can't handle tracks with multiple instruments. Trust me, I've tried.
