Lol, everyone is whining it's not halflife. Like halflife invented the Strider. Strider is just an old word meaning "to leap" or "waling long distances". even the old amiga or atari st had a game called Strider.
This game is Tabula Rasa, a failed mmo. No end game and no good PvP ment a quick and certain death.

@TekranoXx The idea of ''striders'' in science fiction first came out from a novel named The War of the World (1898) and these giant robots had 3 long legs. The insect has 4 legs though. Video games generally use ideas that have been around for a long time. Striders robots concept is over 100 years old buddy

Tabula Rasa. It was a mmo which wasn't succesfull enough. They pulled the plug begin 2009. I played from beta 'till the end. I liked it though. A nice casual mmo, but sadly no end game content. But I liked the setting and the combat.

That is what Valve made from it, it doesn't mean anything as it is a word and not a abbreviation. A common insect, is called "water strider" and has 4 legs.
And no, this is not halflife. Halflife is not the only or first game which uses the name strider in it. But I guess you youngsters just don't know any better.

@kelteel erm LOL half life was around LONNNNGGGGG before this game XD haha
they had the concept of striders in game form first dude. though it wasnt put into action first they did claim rights too the concept and abbreviation.

I did not say this game had the name first. I said the name "Strider" existed long before Half life. Like the 1989 arcade game called Strider. Or the insect called Water strider. Read before you post.
