I was one of the kids that hung out in MATTs 'the pit-' the show was an unrehearsed American Bandstand of authentic cheapness sprinkled with the occassional C list celeb. I guarentee u -Howard St ern and lo, FEW if any BU or any students ever ventured beyond the college walls to revel in the scary Boston Underground- I mean STERN is into BON JOVI and HSR would of been WAY 2 much!

Danny Schecter ( the news discector) from wbcn was producer.... i was an associate producer... they changed the last song with us....and played B F during credits.. we didnt catch till it was too late.... and we got a sweet fine,.... and its one of my "stories" i love to tell , glad to see it here ..... it was at about 2 am

I was at home watching this live at 2am, couldnt believe it was on the air, lol. Someone was dancing naked in the crowd with body paint on, it was awesome. We booked HSR at New England College a year before this, Had them open for George Thorogood and The Destroyers and they blew them away. Never forget sitting on the stage and looking out over the cowfields in the warm sun watching HSR belt out the chorus of I wanna Butt f@ck Butt F@ck, truly a frozen moment in time.
