@itsloudman that's true, I find that my '95 studio sounds great compared to the nowadays ones i played. Not to say that every studio of our days sucks, of course :)

you know all ya can go buy a white one same everything and i bet ya a million dollars every one will sound different..bet on it...none sound the same..just cause its painted white with such and such hardware dont mean a damn thing..you have that amp cranked huh...not bad man...sounds good from here

Great playing and great ZZtop - Sound , I have had last year 2 Gibson Studio's and I was so stupid to sale these :-( for me with the Stuiod you get the best ZZtop sound :-)

@GuitarEd48 thanks ed I think all les pauls are great - I like the studio as it does clean and dirty really well and you dont need to bother too much about marking or damaging it. I would if I had a custom, which are now £2500 in the uk!

@itsloudman Yes you are right , all Gibson LP are great :-) What is happen with Gibson? you can't no more buy any Standard Guitar here in Europe...? exept the Custom Guitars...over 3000 Euros :-(

@GuitarEd48 I agree - in the uk you can only get a traditional or a standard - the standard has terrible chrome tuners and what exactly is a traditional if not a standard? I think they are run by marketing people and not musicians. The custom shop guitars are overpriced now compared to PRS. I think youre best buying used guitars from a few years ago as they are more authentic. I bought the studio for about £650, its over ten years old and sounds great to my ears at least.
