  • Where did you get all those yellow pads ? And do we need to buy the M205 to get this black "hand" pad ?

  • @armadatilem The yellow pads are W8204 polishing pads which can be used on a dual action polisher like the PC7424XP or Meguiars G110v2.

In order to get the hand pad, you have to buy the Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit or buy one from an online source. The one that comes in the headlight kit is a little different from the one you would buy online but both will suit the purpose of working by hand.

  • Which one has most cutting effect?

  • @Abot87 Swirlx has the most cut, followed by M205, followed by Ultimate Polish.

It is important to note that when I say Swirlx has the "most cut" I mean it has the most cut in relation to these very mild cleaner/polishes. Swirlx is still a very light cutting polish even though it has the most cut of these three products.

  • I would say Ultimate Polish is best for the average consumer. It adds a lot of depth and clarity and reallly brings out the color of the finish. Plus, it's cheaper than M205 and leaves a better finish than Swirlx.

  • Good videos man! Meguiars all the way...

  • @latinromeo95 What kind of machine? Those swirls are most likely from improper technique when using a rotary buffer. A dual action polisher is safe for all finishes and even a novice can achieve superior results.

However, if you like working by hand and achieve the finish you like then that's all that matters! :)
