This documentary offers a broad historical, social, political and religious overview of the early Christian faith from its inception to roughly the 3rd century CE.
no where in the bible you could find other nations was called Christians other than the Israelites...Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
@shgibby61981 Watch all the episodes and then say "man couldnt pull this off". Man could very well pull this off. Im not telling you what to believe, but there are so many contradictions between gospel stories its retarded. Not to mention, Paul (about 80% of the NT) claims to have seen a vision of Christ, but refused to listen to the original Apostles, and he said of them "who seemed to be pillars". Say hello to the Roman Catholic church, the mother of "protestants".
It is totally by the power of God that His church spread throughout the world and has become what it is. There are some situations that are not Gods will that the Church has gotten itself into, but nonetheless, God is n control of the Church. The power of man could never pull something like this off, and have it last for 2000+ years.

"The power of man could never pull something like this off"
Well by that logic I guess the power of god is behind Confucianism, Buddhism, Islam, and especially Hinduism which is twice as old as Christianity.
