the ongoing mahler cycle of symphonies in mexico city by la orquesta filarmónica de la ciudad de mexico plus six choruses was quite good; considering the reduced forces involved was a fair try to me since I have never hear the piece live. this is the last double fugue of the first part

  • ORGAN? Why do they do this? Play Mahler in concert halls that don't have organs? Or was it one of those electronic things that gets drowned out by a live orchestra and choir?

  • ORGAN?????!!!!!

This was scored for concert hall organ. Where is it?

    gracias por grabarlo!!!!!

  • Hehehe! I was in that Concert like a anonymous public witness. The organ was stumped by the jungle of sounds, like a little canary in a big forest of The Lord of the Rings trilogy! Like a Mahler's dream in an eternal fugue of voices of the entire Planets: A little electric organ in a Concert Hall!

Greetings from a philosopher's point of view!
