This report contains helpful information that works. Yes acetone is toxic in high concentrations. But for it to work effectively in the context in which it is presented here very small amounts are used. I guess the best way to put it is this way. There are people who preach that aspirin is bad for you because it is a chemical. There are people that preach that aspirin is good for you because it is a chemical. For some it is good for some it is bad. You have to choose. Test it and see.

The real $2 solution to doubling your gas mileage is to buy a bus ticket. Nothing poured into your gas tank apart from more gas will make a car or motorcycle go any further.

Respond to this video... However if you run pure gas (good luck finding that) and you increase the ignition timing and richen your air fuel mixture at higher rpms and use about an ounce of acetone per 10 gal. Mileage will increase significantly.

@frosted1030 Ethanol damages the insides of your engine. Acetone doesn't work with gas that has ethanol in it either. It does still make your engine run smoother and clean emissions but no real mpg increase should be expected when running it with gasoline with ethanol in it.

Acetone?? Really? Sorry but that damages the gaskets and hoses and valves, you will get 1 to 3 MPG difference at the cost of a rebuilt engine.

Acetone is fine in a LEASED or RENTAL car. Don't try this in anything you own.

@gharold1 Really?Acetone In gas? It's a solvent and breaks down the rubber and plastic components In your fuel system and can be costly to fix over time If It doesn't plug things up first.

Does It improve mileage? I believe It does It acts like fuel injector cleaner and removes carbon and deposits In the fuel system But is harmful over time.Injector cleaner,Intake cleaner,New fuel filter is a good start.Tune your cars up people thats the answer...
