This little gem is the very first computerized animation I ever created. It's more of a rotoscope job, as I originally recorded myself running up the steps and entering a door, edited that tape together, then stepped through the tape a frame at a time, keying the character generator tool over the video, as I traced my joint positions for each frame. Interestingly, this was before I even knew what rotoscoping was, or that it had been in use for decades, even on some of my childhood favorite Disney movies. I guess good ideas are easy to come by. It just seemed like an easy way to work at the time.
Pretty cool, I like it. My computer circa 1993 had an Intel 486DX 33mhz, a 124MB (that's MB, not GB) Maxtor hdd (compressed with DOS 6.0 doublespace), a 2400 baud modem, an Orchid Farenheidt 2d video card, and a 15 inch CRT monitor. How times have changed.
