Hey, you guys did a really good job! This song, I'm sure, is a difficult one especially on the drums. From all the clinics I've been to, the biggest tip of advice I hear is to remember that the drummer controls the tempo and rhythm. I know you think your teacher is always right but if you let him lead then you will end up being unsure of rhythms and play them unevenly. Just do what you do and feel the beat opposed to listening to the guitarist.
