Pottermore: Being Sorted

I liked the questions that Pottermore asked. Some of them were revealing about one's character. I'm not sure which questions you got, but I got one along the lines of "You're walking down an alley alone at night and you hear a strange noise. What do you do?" and there were about 7 options. I have also heard people say that your house is slightly predetermined based off of your wand. I'm not sure, but I got a dragon core and was put into Slytherin (the house I wanted). But it's all in good fun!

@twixiechick I kinda wish there was a little explanation on what our answers meant. Some of the questions I could see how the related to certain house qualities but others were very odd.I was asked if I would choose white or black pieces when playing chess. I'm not sure what that says about my character. I liked the wand questions better but then again I wasn't feeling as much pressure when answering those. I was nervous for the sorting.

@carmenxhoi I just sent you a friend request. I'm NimbusShadow148. I'm not looking to switch accounts. I think I'm going to open a new account in October once some of the hype dies down. I'm bummed about the sorting but I'm not taking it too seriously. I know what is in my heart and soul better than a 7 question computer test. I'm sorry you didn't get into Ravenclaw! I know a lot of people are displeased with the sorting!

Like you i consider myself a hardcore hufflepuff :) my sorting hat couldn't decide so it gave me a choice, slytherin or hufflepuff. So obviously i chose hufflepuff :D i was so happy

Look, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and I completely respect the fact that you are upset that you aren't in Hufflepuff, but to make a new account is a little bit to much. I think people should try and embrace their new homes rather than deny them.

I haven't gotten into Pottermore yet, since the site hasn't opened to the public. This does not mean that I didn't try the Magical Quill Challenge, I did, and got in on the third day, but, I never got my welcome email. I'd love to befriend you, and geek out with you about Harry Potter, when Pottermore is open to everyone.

Im very agree with you!! I was selected yesterday and I think I am selected in the wrong house.... Im in Hufflepuff... I have nothing against them instead! they are very loyal and friendly but I'm not one of them. I feel that I am a Slytherin I have the green and silver in the soul I am ambitious selfish and cunning I love the 4 houses but I know myself and how I am and I am definitely not Hufflepuff and not a gryffindor maybe Ravenclaw cause I worry a lot about my grades and I have high marks

@KaylaCakes87 White play in chess means aggressive, offensive also you'd like to be in the lead. Black is defensive. That is why you have to answer honestly when questions are asked. I had a question 'head or tail?' I picked head because that is what you see, I'd like people to show themselves on the head, tails are kinda swishy, secretive and in some cases... poisonous. Heads can be too but it is obvious to see.
