  • you have a good rig but your chroma key lighting must be bad because you lose lots of quality

  • @ChemicalOmega I don't know why the quality is lost, I have the green screen lit perfectly, at-least I think i do. Anyway, it may be because it was editing in final cut express and not my typical program mainly for compositing

  • For stabilizing on the Mac side there a pretty decently priced plugin for Final Cut, Motion, and AE called "lock and load x" which also helps with some rolling shutter issues as well. There are probably some equivalent plug-ins on the Windows side as well. Another program that does a good job at stabilizing footage although it is intended for 3D match-moving is Syntheyes.
