@Zekee27 hah...I heard the pen/pad & keeping "binge" food out the house...I remember days(really nights) thinkin I ate too many amonds or fruit...then thinking I failed my "strick diet" then running out to buy fast food/snacks...the fucked up thing I would say "I'll restart my diet tommorrow...I did that all 2009 & damn near mid Feb. If it wasn't for a gym I would have a burger in my hand now...I stay busy.

I'm going to try it and I'll see if it works. I'll update you. I did it tonight and it did make the hunger go away a little.

I dont think you fully understand what binge eating is all about... when you get the urge, you dont feel like picking up a pen and paper, but to eat a large amount of (unhealthy/fatty) food in a small amount of time, in a "get the hell out of my way" manner.. your head goes "screw that" and you just binge away.. what is most important imo is understanding why you do it before it happens, coping with it as it happens is very hard cause you dont care about anything else..

I binge eat and I'm 15. It is so very hard. My parents didn't belive me when I told them. They think i'm anorexic cuz I never eat. They never see me eat because i'm so ashamed. I need help.....

thanks this sounds like a great idea. do you just keep your journal with you and write whenever you feel like eating?
Excellent tip!

Thank you so much for this! I have been struggling with binge eating for months. It's devastating to me and has really affected my confidence and self-esteem. I am going to try your tick, visit your website, and try journaling. I will definitely update you in a couple of days. :)
