Acie was always a Bonanza guy, owned them for many years and the S-35 was his ultimate airplane. The Bonanza is a fantastic airplane, and Acie has always been a class act.

I have noticed that most people that own Bonanzas are physicians. So it makes sense that it has the reputation of being a doctor killer. But that reputation was probably acquired long ago. The Bonanza is the finest single engine you can buy. Its built like good airplanes should be built, with metal. If you treat the airplane like it deserves to be treated, it will never let you down.

@64chrisnickey Only if you mistreat it. However, any airplane will eventually jump up and bite you if you operate outside of the prescribed envelope or let it get away from your control.
