No, you can disprove the geocentric model of the earth, you can't disprove the Austrian school. You may criticize, or find evidence against it, but social science doesn't work like natural science.

Also, taking an economics course for a year doesn't make you educated.

Krugman is the creationist. He believes in fantasies like "war is good for the economy". Basic common sense tells us that using scarce resources and labor to blow up other scarce resources and labor make us all poorer, not richer. Only with the magical "multiplier" can the logic be reversed.

It is very easy to make a Keynesian look like a fool. Krugman thinks a mock alien invasion will create wealth. He thinks using scarce resources and labor to blow up other scarce resources and labor makes people richer.

The money has been pledge (via credit card), but not charged, until the debate actually happens. So, it is Krugman who is denying food to hungry people, all because he is scared to have a real debate with somebody in the Austrian school of economics. Oh well, Krugs can continue to advocate for bubbles and inflation, the hungry people of New York be damned.,
