  • I'm find it odd that Glenn (a known religious mystic) would get a free pass on the faith issue. Is it just me?

  • Attacking the morality of altruism is hardly "free pass" to religion. B.

  • You (Isabella8466) fall prey to the popular but totally erroneous view that fraud is part of capitalism. It's not. Neither Bernie Madoff's fraud, fraudulently rated bonds, fractional-reserve banking, nor fiat currency are any part of capitalism, yet capitalism's enemies or misguided defenders alike err in ascribing them to capitalism, then using their resultant disasters as "proof" that we need more government regulation. Wrong. We need the government to punish crimes, and otherwise stay out!

  • Yaron Brook and the Ayn Rand Center for Individual Rights are doing great work. In an America where "national debate" is nothing more than political hacks spewing vitriolic attacks, they are really making a principled argument for what made this country great for all the individuals who live there. More power to them, and I hope their message is heard by more people.

  • laissez-faire!

    a cheer for dr. brook

  • Yaron you're the fucking man!

  • Individualism and religion are NOT compatible.

  • An atheist is someone who believes something only if there is proof. By that definition an "atheist socialist" is a contradiction.

  • I'll honestly take the most mystical and deluded religionist who supports individualism than any atheist socialist who even slightly believed that the 'common good' is the most important thing.

  • It's funny because if you actually expanded your points instead of naming general abstractions, (to which Bernie Madoff and the banking system can be directly attributed to the government's regulations within the banking sector), you would actually see how little credibility there is to your argument.

  • glenn is waiting for the messiah to return during an Osmonds concert

  • Glen could not think of the name of the book. First, Beck a Mormon Stepper has little credibility. Second, unchecked capitalism is as dangerous as unchecked government.

(Bernie Madoff, Banking system, et al).

We had a balanced budget under Clintion and runaway spending under Bush.

Our Rethuglican Gov in CA has never been able to balance the budget, 1/3 of our expenditures is spent on supporting illegals, of which the Gov refuses to take action.

  • I'm sure if the topic was "God needs to be a bigger presence in America" then Yaron would have destroyed him.
