What about parity? Sometimes I can't solve it and I have to start from scratch.

@pestvic for the last parody case, you can flip it so it is sideways with the incorrect edges facing you and do: M2, U2, M2, U2.

@sesker82 are u being sarcastic, just wondering?

Alright, so with this cube, there is a whole lot of different edge and corner permutations than the one you can in contact with. i would very much like if you did a tut on some different ways to solve the top layer. =) thx

i cant do a parity with two edge chunks that arent in order...

You said F U a lot ;)

@DocHarbet Or your starting position could be a mirror image of what i described. It doesn't change the basic plan; two center edge swaps. Good luck!

@DocHarbet Hold the puzzle so the three bad edges are at UL, UF, and UR. The piece at UR needs to go across to UL; UL needs to go to UF; and UF needs to go to UR. (All three pieces are correctly oriented but in the wrong place). Now swap UR and UF using [R U R U R U2 R U2 R U R U']. Only turn the top layer; the middle two layers should not be split ever. This fixes RU. Now turn to top face one quarter turn and repeat the same sequence. That should solve it.
