QQFM is a series of quick questions for Mormons (hence the name) and other interested parties to ponder. The answers to the questions just might be a little more revealing than most Mormons would want to admit.

  • What does the quick question mean? LDS believe they will be worshipped one day?

  • @Ryckster1, Mormonism teaches that worthy men and women can become Gods, populate their own planets with their spirit children and receive worship from those children. Official LDS teaching manuals explain this very clearly.

  • I've heard a lot of silly questions out of you, Keith, but this one in my opinion takes the cake. To worship is to pay reverent homage or honor to God. Jesus taught us thru His supreme example and inspired word that all glory be given to the Father. We (LDS) honor our earthly parents like the commandments teach us.

  • I think it is silly that I even have to ASK the question. If you hope to become a God, you'd better get use to the idea of receiving worship. Are you comfortable with that?

  • i 2nd what jonnygotz2343 says

  • We are children of Heavenly Father and we worship him. I dont have a problem wtih my spirit children praying to me

  • Stop bearing false witness anti-mormon scum! There is no LDS theology AT ALL which claims we will be "worshiped". You pervert what our actual theology is to say things that it doesn't say.

  • woa, that concept is way over my head. lol. um, I don't know, as Mormons we assume that anything which appears scary or difficult to swallow will make more sense once we are filled with eternal glory to be able to understand them properly. I guess to answer your question, only god really knows or understands how that works, he's the only one I can think of who's been through this. lol

  • I am Mormon I have answered all your questions clearly. So tell me why don't you answer all our questions? Like this one for instance you say that there is one book. Then why does the Bible mention others such 2 Chr 9:29 The book of Nathan. If you want to explain why there are books listed that are not in the Bible ask.

  • To me this video is just another Anti Mormon ply just by restating the same question as in #26 if you want to know opinion go to #26.

You know I keep people that are Anti towards Mormons on this board but they haven't answered one of my questions. To me that is disrespectful they expect me to answer theirs but they don't answer mine.

  • If we are to become Gods what do you think we are gonna do in the next life? Dance a jig?

  • Absolutely. When I become a parent, I would feel that I had failed in a fundamental way if I had not earned the love, admiration, respect, and willingness to listen of my children. God has earned this of us and we thus worship Him; if we became as He is, all-knowing, all-loving, and perfect, we would naturally also earn the worship of our children just as He, an all-knowing all-loving perfect being has.

  • Absolutely. Mormons believe that if they fill all the requirements, they will be gods over worlds of their own and that their "spirit children" will worship them as God.
