When I was younger,This game sat on a row of kids games at the local "Movie Gallery"....After so many years,that place is gone,but...I regret not renting it...

I'm gonna buy it on Amazon.. :)

Siren Blood Curse is only downloadable in the us, it was released as a fysical copy in europe and japan

@GradientGhoul Yeah I found this out. Ended up buying the new remake on PSN. It was good, but a bit too easy compared to the first.

This was a really great, underrated horror game. Way better than the remake, in my opinion. It wasn't a bad game, but it lacked some of the charm that the first two games had and the inclusion of American characters felt forced.

If it wasn't already in the comments, an English version of the second game was released in Europe and can be played with a little modding or acquisition of a PAL PS2 and a power transformer.

By the way, I'm assuming you've done some research on Siren 2, right? From the trailers I've seen, it really looked like 3x the fun of the first Siren. :) It's nice to see there are some gamers who really appreciated this game.

Hey man, great review! Man, playing through this game is quite the experience. I agree with you on so many aspects of this in terms of gameplay. It's unique, but yeah, it certainly took lots of time to get into. What you said about using the Internet for some of those, geez, GameFAQs was my friend with this game. Thanks to games like this, I actually started studying the Japanese language.

this game will make you extremely mad because of the difficulty however the ending is very satisfying a very unique game

I just ordered this game through amazon!!!! ^_^ I already have the 2nd game, and I always wanted to get this (Hate having a incomplete serie!). I don't mind the difficult level, I love it when games are a challenge, even if I feel like throwing my controller to the wall xD Too bad the 2nd wasn't released in America :/ (Happy to live in Europe :D ) and it's a shame these games aren't that known :P Anyway! Best review of this game I've seen so far! :D Keep it up!
