  • What LIARS! These are pharmaceutical reps and the dumb-shit drs. who believe them. There is science that supports the fact that 50% of the people who die from heart attacks have LOW choles. That's right, LOW cholesterol. Go figure. Anything to keep big pharma in the $. Instead u should measure ur risk with a CT Heart scan, homocysteine levels, LP(a)2 test, a VAT test measures your LDL particle size. These are the tests that really matter, but you'll never hear about it. Why? No $ in it.

  • you should not be taking any drug for more than a week

  • I truly believe that statins caused my father to have a stroke. At 75 his doctor said he had some plaque in his arteries (never effected him from what I saw) and prescribed a statin. After that it was all downhill, muscle wasting, weight loss, pain, eventually onto oxygen, amnesia, dementia and eventually a fatal bleeding stroke at 79.

  • In January I had a blood panel done for the first time in my life, at age 60, and my cholesterol was 306, labeled "very high" by my Doctor. He of course wanted me to go on a prescription drug. I said NO, that I would try some other things first. I got on the Internet, found Sterolyn and ordered it. The best news is that my cholesterol in April was only 222, a reduction of 84.

  • Statins also inhibit NF-Kappa B, which has beneficial effects. Ginger an curcumin alsi inhibit NF-Kappa B, as do other nondrug entities. Vitamin C inhibits the same enzyme statins inhibit. In the J-LIT trial as LDL approached 70 cardiac-related deaths increased. Statinators have lots of issues upon which to come clean.

  • I was really badly poisoned by this drug, near to the point of death,as I imagine many people are going to be and currently are. Near total memory loss, all the muscles falling off the bones, loss of eyesight, achilles heel collapsed under me and I could probably go on. Anyone wants to get in touch please do. Kd.
