@MrDellaDonna who needs cymbals? I put a tambourine on my foot and take care of a "hi-hat" that way. Of all of the things I love about the cajon, it's that beyond having its own dual legacies (first in afro-peruvian music, and then with flamenco guitarists), it's also a great mimic of other drums. Pandeiro? No sweat. Drum Kit? No sweat. Snare Drum? no sweat. Bass Drum? No problem. The possibilities seem endless with this drum, especially if you can get one w/a lot of bottom end.

Great Chops-Did he play in drum corps?This may be the next way to conquer small club- guess you can fit 100 lbs a crap in a 2 lb bag..
just need to find a good way to amp and add cymbals.
