I went to Lambeau Field to see a bad Packers team 25 years ago; but the legend was there. When you walked into the stadium, you FELT something special. There was a feeling of awe; and actually felt a presence of energy that I had not felt belofe or since. Adolescent excitement, I guess. My own father was a very hard, hard man. He love me and all of his family until the day he died.

I was in the Marine Corps when Lombardi died, and when I heard the news I felt as if my own father had died. I never got a chance to hear this at that time, but I am so grateful to hear it now. Thank you for posting this. A life long Packer fan from Wisconsin.
