EBAY SCAMMERS

Ebay is being targetted by Nigerian scammers. They seem to target mobile phones and cameras. high value goods which can be easily got rid of and bring large sums of money. They bid on the item your selling and win it. trouble is there never was any sale. you post it to them and you don't get paid. all this is done through a fake account. don't even bother checking their negative feedback as it mysteriously vanishes when left. forward the email to: spoof@ebay.co.uk or visit the discussion pages and they'll direct you. remember do not disclose credit card details and do not respond to your emails. use the ebay site for any contact between you and ebay.

Yup, Ive had private e-mails sent asking me to take the item off the selling list and the person wants to pay a ridiculous higher price than listed. Usually for "my son" or "daughter". Beware

I was selling a laptop on ebay and one of these Nigerian fuckers tried to scam me. He sent me fake paypal and account messages saying that he paid me 500.00 when the item was 300.00 and i never got the payment plus his location was in texas mean while he wanted it sent to this bullshit address in nigeria for his daughter in law.And like a dumbass i thought nothing to it because it was my first sale and i sent it but lucky me i got it back safe and sound before it left the post office.
