On April 22, 2007, a friend (Tomek Leszkiewicz) and I (Mikaël Huot) almost drowned to death during a canoe trip on the Ottawa River, near Pincourt, Quebec, Canada.

wow that must change your life around when i was 8 years old i saved my friends little brother in the swimming pool he had lost a waterwige and went under a raft i jumped in and saved him and i got a medle for doing this it was scary i didnt no what to do

The water was two degrees. We got hypothermia in less than 5 minutes.

damn i was there that day and i saw them go out to get you and i was i hope they are alright and i was with my 2 friends and we like oh snap and we saw ure canoe and u 2 getting pulled out of the water and i remember how cold it was that day i remember saying dude they are gonna freeze to death literaly glad ure alright:)
