Over 90,000 men and women returning from military service rely on the U.S. Veterans Health Administration (VHA) services for treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), the signature wounds of these conflicts. The Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback presented a TeleSeminar by Dr. Carmen Russoniello, himself a former Marine machine gunner and decorated Vietnam combat veteran. ww.youtube.com/watch?v=kDlKRA_

@ytmakemelaugh i do, i have been "smiling" at the world for so long, that i hardly even notice that i am totally denying the emotions, and wishing i wasnt there, only to find when im by myself, i hate that just as much.. sleep is always an option, but you have to get to sleep first, and them come the memories and nightmares.... just to wake up to another day of the same.. a drink or a bit of heroin or valium helps, but then again... i wish you all the very best.

'' u hate crowded place's? fuck yah just leave me the fuck alone!,keep u'r fucking opinion to u'r self. talking to people,mostly mental health profesional? piss'es me off more,telling me that anybody can get Ptsd just by getting involved in a car accident.this fucking bitch does'nt know the fear that overwhelm u while u'r in combat then compare that to a fucking accident.this r some of the people that work at the VA, a person that suppose to take care of soldier.i'm just glad she is not there 0

@ytmakemelaugh U can't just say that a person suffers from Ptsd,cz i have it too.most of us tries not to show it cz sometime we think that nobody care anyway beside it called a flash back, we try not to really think about it, something just triggers it.One of my best friend did not show fear in combat but a month after deployment,he had commited suicide.I was really hurt thinking that he was fine while i'm spending my life on a sleepless night.I do smile a lot but deep inside,i'm scared.etc

@ytmakemelaugh Maybe he's got a mask on. I know I pretend like I'm perfectly fine, but my PTSD is devouring me from the inside. Some people are better at acting okay than others.

this is true. I found that the Youtube channel Help For My Life has some helpful material in dealing with PTSD. Check it out and pass it on.

I agree he doesn't look as if he really does have PTSD. However, appearances can deceive and perhaps he does have it. If I were assessing him, I would want to put him through some tests to prove it as he seems quite laid back about it, but it would not be fair to judge him on that.

@ytmakemelaugh agreed
