I was just looking for the seinfeld clip but got stuck on your babka video and watched the whole thing! Loved it! And I know the PERFECT solution to exploded babka. Ready? Are you sure cause it's a great idea?? BABKA BREAD PUDDING!

I enjoyed this video so much that I subscribed, you're a very good show host. I have a simple solution. My mother who is 87 has been making DELICIOUS babkas for around 60 years. She uses a metal baking "pan" that is about 6-8 inches tall and it has a round divider coming up through the middle. This keeps everything contained and inside. You can use a bundt pan if you have one. The babka rises and goes up above the sides, it's very impressive looking. Butter and flour the inside for easy removal.

@platinumplusenter That's the normal way of making it, less rolled out and more like a loaf of bread, I just like the visual of the ring. Thanks for sharing.

wouldnt mixing it alot create too much gluten? :S

@lambokun possibly, but wouldn't that have made the dough tougher and less likely to burst? We didn't let is sit the required two hours because of our shooting schedule.
