It's actually a mercedes benz 4000 engine and it's louder than the series 60 and DD15 engines. mbe4000 at 460hp it rumbles everythings though the power doesn't not match up compared to a series 60 or DD15. mbe4000 is better coupled to a 13 or 18 speed transmission because it's very weight sensitive due to low torque ratings

It's definietly a Detroit Diesel DD15 engine because it sounds more low pitched compared to the Series 60 engines.
