We're at the middle of the season and already the whole world has basically gone to shit without Darkseid even making a single appearance, yet. I think this says a lot about the magnitute of the villain and damn sure it treats Darkseid with the respect he deserves. Who cares if he lacks physical form yet. He could not be here all the time, cause he's too fuckin evil. I really like the way they present him so far.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Checkmate introduced in season 9 to bring the heroes out to deal with the coming "Apocalypse." The initiative wouldn't have dried up this quickly would it? You would think this organization would know how Darkseid operates and have a plan, and countermeasures, in place to deal with him. They have been strangely absent during this season, I wonder how the writers will address this?

When Oliver was attacked by the public, the Heroes concluded that they were all controlled by Darkseid. I wonder how they knew that. They didn't have any markings on them to show that they were. Very frustrating. What about the Lost, SmokeMonster? Did you catch that Clark has been "globetrotting" to the other side of the world to visit Kara? Maybe he's taking flying lessons undercover? I would like to see the practice sessions. I don't want him to show up, "ta da, I can now fly".
