It's Easy To Lose Yourself In Melbourne
http://www.visitmelbourne.com.au/

Music: 'Sprout and the Bean' by Joanna Newsom from her record 'The Milk-Eyed Mender'.

People need to know that Melbourne is constantly evolving and there are always new things to discover -- new shops, designers, restaurants, galleries, places to say and things to see and do. If you come back again in a year's time, there will be a whole lot more to discover.

The television advertisements commenced on 17 September 2006, with the 90 second version airing on all commercial networks in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide and SBS nationally. The campaign was launched in New Zealand in 2007.

Melbourne is the best city in Australia by general consensus. It has a very European feel about it, artsy, full of history, culture and hidden treasures. You will always be surprised about what you can find. It annoys me that when tourists come to Australia, the first thing that comes to mind is Sydney because of the iconic bridge and opera house. But it has very little to offer in terms of experience.

I'd stick with Melbourne. So much more history, such a rich diversity in culture, sure they've not the Sydney Opera house or the Gold Coast but those are wayyy too overrated in this era. Gold Coast is a tourist trap and Syndey...all they really have is a pretty harbor, an opera house and one of the worst street layouts in the world.

definitely consider Melbourne. Sydney doesn't even begin to compare.
