Go get a Desktop. Yes its not portable but it last forever, more power, and large memory space.

I've had mine for 6 years now, it did crash because of a virus once. I had to replace the battery once because it broke down. But so far it's been a very reliable laptop imo.

i got a inspiron 1545 for my birthday. 2 years later it is slower then shit (and i only have itunes,WoW, and skype on it) its soo slow it has spasms >.< o yea and heres the best thing my mother told me that Dell sold a company a laptop yea it burned down the building... my father also has a dell and its wonderful! just the luck of the draw with dell i guess...

i think the new alienware laptops are sick and theyre made by dell. i currently have a inspiron 1420 and its kinda crappy
the screen is creaky when u close and open it and it waddles. plus it overheats cuz the fans suck on my laptop, and my graphics card sucks..
im getting an alienware m17x for my birthday in about 3 months im so excited

HP sucks, Dell sucks,..... yet no one has addressed the real problem why they suck. They're made in crappy, sucky, china that's why. The chinese don't care what they sell you, they don't even care about their own citizens. But that's half the problem... The real problem is these corporate hook-nose crooks who sell out this country to funnel the money into the their pockets and Israel. Yeah Isreal.!!!! Isreal spies on US and gives the secrets to China, India, Taiwan for profit.

That same thing happened to me. Not I have a cracked screen a fucked up keyboard and they never honored my warranty

Not so. I had Dell techs come to my office the next day after my new 830D Latitude laptop arrived. It never worked and the tech said it was a "lemon." I've spent the past 16 months trying to get my money back, or a replacement. Even with my extended 3-year warranty, still NO LUCK. DELL customer service and tech support SUCK, too. If I don't get the promised replacement by next week, I'm suing. I already have the BBB involved. See i hate dell . net (no spaces) and read about class action suits.
